Climate

Suzhou is located in the eastern coastal areas of China, in the subtropical humid monsoon climatic region with four distinct seasons, mild temperatures and abundant rainfall. The annual mean temperature is about 15.7 centigrade. July is the hottest month with the average temperature of 28.2 centigrade, and January is the coldest month with average temperature of 3 centigrade. From June to July is the rain season of Suzhou City.
